The aim of the congress is to explore approaches to new solutions for food and nutrition issues. Unbalanced distribution of food causes over-nutrition on the one hand and high mortality due to malnutrition on the other. However, chronic disease is not an issue of developed countries, but also for developing countries thus it requires the global cooperation as a common issue. The globalization of diet addresses issues of novel food, genetically modified foods, highly processed food and consequence food security, and it requires our discussion based on the common background.
