【Contents 学習内容】
This is a reading, discussion and debate class, based on topics in the British magazine "THE ECONOMIST". This is a weekly magazine, but we will focus only on one issue of each month. Each student will choose an article or feature that he or she is interested in and then present it to the rest of the class. The teacher will of course help with vocabulary and more difficult expressions. Topics will be not only economics, but also business, society, current affairs, and even arts. It is hoped that discussion will be lively and interesting.

【How to learn 学習方法】
It is hoped that students will learn：　
1）From listening to the teacher　
2）From modeling their methods on those of the teacher 　
3) From reading, both at home and in class 　
4) From the experience of giving their own presentation 　
5) From listening to other students and discussing with them 6) Studying specific language points　

All areas of language will be used. Students will read, listen and discuss．They will study the structure of English and the content of the magazine． However，they will not be expected to write，other than what is necessary to give their presentation．
