Its a great way to make a good living, but, not for the weak of heart or body.  Get ready to walk around 5 to 10 kilometers a day from client to candidate through the subways of tokyo, sweat, talk your head off, schmooze, and eat your pride.  That said, its fun while your young, don`t expect to be doing this in your 50`s..

Too bad many firms out there eat up a lot of foreignors first coming here to Japan.  When you first start, they will probably give you around 450,000 per month then put you on a 30% commission where you get 30% of what you bill.  Probably the best firm for training out there is Wall Street Associates, get 2 years under your belt with them then move on...
